paint and cut
We invite you to enjoy a lovely morning or evening of painting and cutting flowers on our hillside. Brooke will lead you in a watercolor painting class under our pavilion. After the class you will be able to cut your own bouquet or pick flowers we've already cut stationed inside our studio.
Water and iced tea will be provided by Reiner Hill Flowers, along with light refreshments of cheese , crackers, and assorted fruit.
Everything the student needs to create their very own masterpiece will be provided. From the brushes & fine art paints, to aprons & a pre-sketched canvas/watercolor paper; depending on the medium chosen. The only requirement is an adventurous spirit & a need to unwind.
About the instructor
Meet brooke
Brooke’s love for the arts began in the garden. Growing up in Oregon, in the garden with her mother & discovering new plants along hikes with her brothers were the foundation of her love for all things that grow. Today, in West Virginia, she spends her time outside of the studio with her favorite things that grow; her own children, dogs & gardens & the forests nearby. They bring her closer to the world she wants to share. On canvas, Brooke strives to create a moment for the viewer. A moment to lose their stresses. Their worries. Themselves within the natural world. To get a glimpse of the huge impact tiny details can have on ones mind.
